Cafe Pausa - Wrexham

Ordered jacket with chili con carne and cheese for two of us. waited age and when it arrived and we began to eat it, we realized that there was no meat in it only amounts of buzz. I wanted to check if they had made a mistake and. they said they had only one kind of chili. we decided to eat it and when we went out, I checked the menu at the wall what chilli con carne clearly said. I challenged the chef and pointed him to the menu and he said we had no. I suggested he might have told us that it was not available, so we had the opportunity to cancel, but he's just so sorry. Not good enough, pausa. very disappointed.

The service was incredibly slow, the personal seemed not to have what they did and were easily distracted by everything. they cried together and seemed to have no kind of management. the food that I and my friends wished was not available so that our commands had to be changed quickly, one of my friends did not even get their meal and was refunded by what seemed to be the manager who then left as soon as they came. today in pausa disappointed

My parents and I stopped at this restaurant during midday. The prepackaged sandwiches were fresh and tasty. The selection was good. The coffee was a bit too strong for my liking, so I would recommend asking for a weaker cup if you prefer a milder taste. The restaurant was clean and the staff cleaned all the tables while we were there. The entrance to the cafe was a bit hidden, but that was the fault of Dunelm, not the cafe. The location was beautiful, at the top of some stairs, allowing diners to watch the shoppers as they enjoyed their meal.

Staff do their best with apparently limited resources and sometimes too few on duty. Drinks, sandwiches, cakes etc available.

When I went to get some new pillows, my daughter decided she was hungry so we stopped at Cafe Pausa. We were surprised at how good it was! I had some carrot cake and an espresso, and my daughter had some caramel shortbread and a...glass of milk. Friendly staff, great prices. !
