Mrs. Goodmans has been a staple in Columbus for many years, and with the new owners, it has only gotten better. Their buttercream cookies are my go-to choice for parties, with a variety of seasonal themes always available. When preordered, they can make just about any cookie you can dream up, and they are absolutely delicious - probably the best cookies around. Their cakes are also fantastic, with options like chocolate, white, and various cupcake flavors. And let's not forget about their Strawberry Rhubarb Pie - I have never had a store-bought pie that I enjoyed more. It was truly wonderful.
We had a wonderful experience at Ms. Goodman's restaurant for our daughter's 4th birthday. The birthday cake was both beautiful and delicious, which is not always easy to find. We will definitely return for more delicious treats in the future!
I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday from this bakery, which was recommended by a friend. Let me just say, the frosting on the cake was so delicious and fresh, it literally melted in my mouth. I highly recommend this bakery to everyone, 10 out of 10.
Last minute inquiry from our birthday child for an important lime cake! Ms. Goodman said “No problem!” Picked up the best key lime cakes we had a few hours later. Thank you for making our day!
Stopped in this morning for some cookies. Took some time to talk with the new owners. Took over in the last 4 months I believe. They have definitely cleaned the front of the business up. New cabinets and display cases. Just a general cleaning of the front of the house. Way more inviting area now. Cookies, scones, cupcakes, pies, cakes and pastries. There is a great selection. Everything is super delicious.
