I arrived here for lunch at around 11:00 and was promptly served without any wait. The meal deal (medium) was priced at just under £6. Unfortunately, the upstairs area was closed so we had to eat downstairs, which seemed hastily put together without much consideration. Despite this, the food was of excellent quality and I will definitely return in the future.
The staff at this restaurant are friendly and welcoming. The food consistently delicious and worth the price. The atmosphere is calm and perfect for enjoying a meal.
I recently stopped by for a cookie and tea and was pleased with the good service and delicious cookie. I normally order the turkey and ham 6-inch sub with salad, and everything is always fresh.
Notice clearly states open until 8pm. Arrived as a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 children at 5.36pm. Upstairs closed as it had been cleaned. Assistant/manager... said he would sell us food but we would have to eat outside, he did not want to clean the tables!!!! We said we would be quick to eat the food indoors, small toddler and elderly grandparents, very cold outside. Not prepared to allow us to eat inside... so unwelcoming and inhospitable. Very disappointing, normally love a subway sandwich, have enjoyed sandwiches in many locations across the UK, but not here!!!!
Oh dear me... Not sure why i ended up in a Subway anyway but i am sure that this was not the atmosphere the corporate branding wizards were looking for. Catatonic staff that couldn't be bothered to spread the meager ingredients for the length of the sandwich. I came away slightly more depressed and slightly less satisfied with life. Wow!
