It's something special, I hope it stays that way for a long time, it still is. Every now and then there is something new on the menu, always the same
Had reservations at lunchtime for the evening. When we arrived the store was closed... After trying to call several times, we gave up and left because no one answered the phone...
The “Zum Karpfen” restaurant doesn’t look like much and the ravages of time have clearly left their mark. But we didn't let that deter us and we weren't disappointed. The economy is run as a one man show and yet everything runs quickly and smoothly. Of course, the menu is manageable, but that's not really a problem as, based on experience, the focus here is on the dishes that are popular. As soon as a small group sat down in the courtyard, the landlord came and took the drinks order, which were quickly needed. The food also went comparably quickly. We all took sausage salad with fries: tasty, tasty, good portions and at a good price. We were very satisfied! The landlord is friendly and has a sense of humor. As a house specialty, horse meatloaf is on the menu once a month... we'll try that next time (it's probably always on a weekend in the middle of the month... so call in advance! .
