Punjabi-Haus - Worms

Let me first say, I am half Indian ... I know Indian food.... this stuff was honestly the most horrible Indian food I have ever had.... the naan was actually disgusting, old.... butter chicken should not be called butter chicken and the chickpeas, no taste...at all....very disappointing... it wasn't always this bad, used to be better... feel sorry to be so brutally honest because the man there is very nice... but the food is really not ok....

The streets of downtown Worms are absolutely dead by PM even on a Saturday night, but we did manage to find a couple of non-German restaurants near our hotel. We tried the Punjabi Haus, where we got the last available table, and had a...reasonably good meal. The fish pakoras tasted very good, although they were in the mushy style that Germans seem to prefer. The garlic nan was excellent, as was the chicken vindaloo. The Madras duck was good but contained only a few specks of duck meat.

Eating in punjabi house in worms is not better and not worse than other Indian restaurants....More

The portions were sufficient and also delicious. the older man who took the service alone was very friendly and you didn't have to wait too long. the prices are a little too high.

Genuine quality restaurant. Good service in fact a very good place to eat. The family group were delighted with their meals.
