The service was outstanding. The food taste great. They had live entertainment that sounded great. The only complaints I have is on the steak burger I ordered the patty was half the size of the bun. Half of the bites were just bread. Also, I have noticed this morning that I was billed twice for my order. The flavor of everything was amazing. View all feedback.
What Geoffrey Barton doesn't like about Chinook Steak, Pasta Spirits:
If I could give this zero star, I would. We ordered the Filet Mignon, which was 49 dollars, and the Prime Rib 16oz, which also 49 dollars as well as the shrimp appetizer. The appetizers showed up. The fillet was over and literally lick a salt. The main rib was Bratbeef and boiled over until it felt as if you chew on bubble gum. The golden potatoes were made with margarine and the green beans were raw and straight sea... View all feedback.
We had dinner here on Christmas Eve with our daughter. The snow was falling outside with the lights on the trees. Could not have been a more beautiful ambiance and scenery. The service was outstanding beginning in the lounge and continuing throughout our dinner. My husband has a severe shellfish allergy and the waitress was attentive, made suggestions and assured us of the care they would take to make sure he was safe. It was refreshing to have someone who took such pains to get it right. When the food came, it was absolutely delicious. My prawn appetizer was delectable and the arugula salad flavorful and unique. I had a Spanish sparkling wine with those courses. My salmon came perfectly cooked and that rarely happens with salmon in my experience. My husband had a Caesar Salad and his raviolis were in a wonderful sauce. Both were satisfying and had no cross contamination as we have had at other fine dining venues in the area. They were true to their word. He had the cranberry apple crisp for dessert and liked that as well.My daughter had the Chinook salad and loved it. She is very picky and has an excellent palate and loved the flavors and the presentation. She followed this with the Scallops and they did not disappoint. She also commented on her well-made dirty gin martinis. Another rarity. All in all the experience was excellent. We are returning tomorrow night for another great dinner. I cannot wait.
The service was poor, the server spend more time at the counter chating then your service. Some if the thing on the menu they are out of. And mind you they jest opened. Soup is flavor less. Appetizer cold in the center, prime rib fatty throughout the steak. Jest was not pleased. At are vist was 430 to 6 on a sat and when we left there was still hardly anyone there. ? ? sad ? ?
Two years ago we would order the salmon and find him delicious. then it began to go down the hill until it became unacceptable. we changed to the scallops. they were really unclean. then they went from the menu. in the januar we discovered the waygu pepper steak. it was so good that we were coming. the serive is always friendly and fulfills our time expectations.
Great service, nice atmosphere but disappointing food! Bruschetta appetizer was dry and flavorless. Pork loin was in a salt bath (probably not rinsed after brining), Ribeye was average at best and the Wedge Salad was made with Butter Lettuce which cannot hold up to a heavy Blue Cheese Dressing which it was swimming in. Out of Prime Rib and Hamburger on both visits in November. Love the service, however the Kitchen needs HELP!
Definiely 3 stars. negatiw: overpriced, over $100 for two dinners no drinks or appetizers, but we have saved a third of the price with casino comps. brot tasted as if it were just fighting. positiw: server very attentive, filet mignon and kartoffeln kartoffeln perfect, very tasty. use them casino comps when they dine here.
