Half Moon - Worksop
Half Moon
Description
Nestled in a charming locale, this pub offers a mixed dining experience. While some patrons enjoyed celebratory meals with exceptional service and well-presented dishes in a pleasant atmosphere, others found their visits marred by long wait times, lukewarm meals, and lackluster ambiance. Despite a decent beer garden and ample parking, inconsistencies in food quality range from delightful to disappointing. Enthusiastic staff often elevate the experience, but frustrations grow during busy periods, particularly during holidays. Overall, the pub has potential but may require refinement to consistently meet diners’ expectations for a great experience.

Went here for Christmas lunch! Very disappointed. Got starters on time but then waited nearly 1.5 hours for main course! I understand that it was busy but then when it arrived it was Luke warm the lamb was tough, the veg could have done with cooking a bit longer too. We didn’t wait for dessert. We visited the half moon last year and it was far better! Never again for Christmas dinner!!!! Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
