We choose The Nightingale because it was halfway between destinations and it meant both parties wouldn't have too longer journey home. What steph thompson doesn't like about The Nightingale:
I have had a few meals at The Nightingale and can honestly say the food in of very good quality. This was the first time i had booked for a family meal on a Sunday at 7pm and was disappointed that quite a lot of the menu was sold out once we had arrived. She was excellent. We defiantly will be back. Thank you all so much for a wonderful Sunday lunch we had with our family. You made it very special.

I suppose it is understandable as it was a lovely sunny day so a lot of people probably went for lunch time, but as I had booked for a large group in advance it was a little problematic trying to work out what was left on the menu that we could have. I wouldn't recommend dining on a Sunday evening but I would go back on a different day or at a different time in future.
