We regularly used to call in here for lunch on our day off, as we loved the great value food and friendly staff. We hadn’t been able to call in for a few months, so were looking forward to our visit in the run up to Christmas. Oh dear, not sure what has happened, but the quality of the food had fallen dramatically. My lasagne was very claggy and unappetising , and was nearly all pasta. My husband used to love the all... Great pub, amazing quiz on a Thursday, lovely food, lovely crowd, and an incredible and hard working bar team. Don’t have anything negative to say!
Always very quick service from the team, never fail to impress me
Having had visited the Talbot on multiple occasions, I feel it be necessary to comment on the approach taken towards the service by staff. Frankly speaking, each time at the establishment I have been served by the same server at the bar. His attitude is unwelcoming and not approachable. If able to I would have requested a different bar person as he had presented unpolitenees towards me every single time. He seems unknowledgeable regarding discounts and discouraging towards the products advertised on the menu, even when the options are limited due to stock. Such a shame to see the staff not promote the lovely atmosphere and the quality of product.
I had a bad pint of carling and it was bad but the server said was acceptable NOT IN MY OPINION sad but never again
Absolutely love the Talbot. Best pub in worcester, staff are amazing and friendly, food is great and priced well. The atmosphere for the euros this year was amazing. Thanks so much for all of your hard work !!!!

On Sunday evening for drinking and eating. genuine Ale selection to go igor and a beautiful wein for me with freshly cooked steak and chips and a cake and chips. both excellent and the charming society of gary the cat (which is not annoying at the meal times in contrast to my own tribe! . we will eat again in the talbot.
We celebrated a 50th birthday celebration of the family, the staff was excellent as eating. very reasonable prices 25 meals all well cooked. Sunday dinners are also great! many thanks to the whole team.
We had a fantastic time, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff. we had vicky and terry who took care of us, with heather who cooked a storm behind the scenes. what an explosion! the team delivered us a damn good food. we will definitely be back for more!
We had the 50th birthday of my wife in the Talbot yesterday. I've been doing so a few events for years, and I have to say this place is amazing. best staff, so friendly, so helpful, professional, and made the whole (for about 25 people), a wonderful day to remember. that also eat, really good quality, and no one was waited. only so grateful for her team for everything.
Had a great afternoon at the pub. Staff were friendly and attentive and roped us into spending a fortune trying to balance a 20p on a **** lemon! (My friend Ben Hulme did it first try and didn’t brag or anything) Had food too which was reasonably priced and tasty! Would definitely recommend!
