What Daviddsquared doesn't like about Steam Coffee Shop:
Breakfast one Saturday morning for 3. Thought it looked ok from outside but food was pretty poor. Portobello Mushrooms they were not. Fodder not food and not that cheap. Service was very in your face and plates plonked down on table. Some parts cold and had to go back to get reheated but all that was was 1min in microwave. Shame but never again View all feedback.
Best espresso in Worcester and run by a lovely couple. Gorgeous focaccia brunch and amazing tray bakes and brownies. Always a warm welcome
Amazing experience the best breakfast that I ever had was so delicious friendly staff very clean and lots of cakes for you to eat love it. I can recommend this place. Mr. Wig. YouTube
Quick stop at Steam before work.. Beautiful quaint coffee shop with the best cappuccino I've had for a long time!!... Will definitely be back for the amazing looking cakes
Popped in for the blackboard deal of bacon or sausage sandwich and coffee or tea for £4. I opted to add a sausage for £1. Mocha coffee was beauts however when the sandwich arrived it wasn’t what I expected I found a small thread of something with a black thing attached hanging down from the bread. Looked vile, I tried to get the attention of the server but she was busy on her phone. When she did come over I pointed out the problem and asked for the remaining half of the sandwich to be switched to brown bread. I did hear the chef laughing in the kitchen hoping it wasn’t about my returned food. Alas it came back just as I had sent it, untouched. I told the young lady that I asked for brown bread but she said sorry we don’t have brown bread only sour dough! I took off the crusts and ate the rest because the edges of the bread had some sort of black bits stuck to it. I guess you get what you pay for, nonetheless a sincere apology wouldn’t go a miss. Place was very cold inside and on a cold day it’s unacceptable. Won’t be returning...
On a cold day popped in for first time to Steam. Ordered flat white and a ham and cheese croissant. First thing I noticed how cold it was inside, two temporary heaters were deployed, one wasn't working and one was not up to the job, it was freezing. Only one couple were in, but they soon left. Coffee was good but croissant was the smallest I've seen and frankly cold, the cheese was melted but it must have been left on the side. For £4.60 each this was Very disappointing. Unfortunately will not be returning.
