We tried the largest Scotch egg ever at The Moon newspaper, and it was amazing. The employees were fantastic. If only they offered a variety of egg dishes on their menu! View all feedback.

So a typically damp, cold Saturday afternoon in Worcester and my wife and I desperately want lunch to warm us up..... so we popped into the Scotch Egg Shop in Friar Street and found `heaven`..! Staff were friendly, encouraging and so helpful and we...chose soup of the day (pea) with warm sausage roll or a Scotch Egg. Taking our seats upstairs we joined a lovely family group whose banter and laughter made the architecturally fascinating room a further welcome. (This is a delightful timber framed building complete with wall paintings worth a look anyway The waitress served us within minutes and the food was delicious, nourishing and so clearly home-made with the soup thick and filling. Cannot fault anything from welcome through service to food and cheerful goodbye this is a real gem and NOT A CHAIN!!! In a city where increasingly the chains are taking over this experience is one to seek out, try, savour and return to... congratulations!!!!
Always a nice selection of vegetarian eggs! my only complaining is that they don't have the same all the time, which means when knowing which they love they don't always get it. However, the selection is very good and it always is. have a multi-buy offer so I cant really complain!
