Have ordered takeaway many times from Cheng Ye, and would describe the food as pretty average in comparison to other local Chinese takeaway restaurants. We ordered last night and the estimated wait was 80 minutes, but the food arrived much before then which was much appreciated. Excellent takeaway, great quality of food, all tasty, well priced and arrived on time, portions were also good. Would definitely use again.
Six adults finished their week on the local canals and collected a takeaway to enjoy on our last night on a narrow boat. We all agree that it was great food with generous potions. We're from Sunderland, Northampton and Kent and all thought the value was superb.
