What Mohammed Wright doesn't like about Charlie's Cafe:
We visited on a quiet Sunday afternoon, there was just another 2 people in there, though about 8 people arrived as we were leaving.. quite a nice menu, but a little pricey for what it was. I had a baked potato (its a personal gripe...with me that a baked potato is BAKED and not microwaved! ..for between £5-6 the small potato and little salad was a bit disappointing as was the fact it was microwaved...really wish it w... I can never make up my mind because everything is so good! The staff is always lovely and the food is amazing!
I decided to visit this restaurant after discovering it the day before, as Worcester doesn't have many options for a good vegan meal, especially on a Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised by this charming place and received excellent service from the lovely waitress. I ordered the vegan all day breakfast and was impressed when it arrived, complete with a thick slice of freshly roasted bread. Despite being tempted to order an extra slice of toast, the breakfast was satisfying enough, especially after spending the last 3 hours riding my motorcycle in 24C temperatures. I have tried other cafes in Worcester that offer a vegan breakfast, but none of them compare to this one. I highly recommend this cafe, and it's only a 20-minute drive from where I am.
Where she vegan or not this place is amazing! the service is amazing! I would definitely recommend and would definitely return. they can make sure quiche!
I finished work early and went to lunch after charlie. I had a chicken broth with garnet bread. it was tasty and delicious. there is always a friendly and welcoming recipe. as a family we go regularly. recommend
Now, when I had never visited worcester before I was looking forward to a decent breakfast in a local small business café, our visit to Charlie’s cafe was a complete retreat. the employees were shocking, no warm welcome, no information, whether it. Table service or order on the counter was. we waited for one because on the theke and no one came to serve us, we finally grabbed the bell only to be greeted by a miserable and unlustful young waitress. the ordering process was painful; single word responses, no effort or enthusiasm and complete of interest, which, when they try to beat a rapport, only shows how bad the service is. the interaction was enough to leave ourselves, but we thought that, although the first impression is everything, maybe we should shiny about this insane customer interaction and talk about eating for themselves. we ordered 3 breakfasts, orange juice, crumbled and some squash that were all good, but again, when they were brought to the table, the waitress was simply rude. the breakfast came and they were, at best, average. we had paid an extra £1.65 for a part of the mushroom, which can only be slotted as maybe 2 small mushrooms. the prices were not competitive, the food was of poor quality (keifbrot for toast, cheap sausages and acid cheap beans) we ate and left. not a word of farewell or thanks to how we went, was given and it really let us all with such a negative impression of the place that we not only recommend the caffe we are to avoid accept those. they would get better service, similar quality food and a cheaper bill at a chain-marked breakfast place. save your effort.
