Delicious! We placed our order just 45 minutes before closing because we arrived in town later than we anticipated. We were concerned that the food might be the last remnants of the night, but it was anything but! The food was fantastic! We ordered the large oxtail and two medium jerk chickens. Wow, it was fresh, piping hot, and incredibly tasty! The jerk chicken packs a spicy punch, so be cautious if you're sensitive to heat! The coco bread was perfect for soaking up all the delicious juices, although it could have been a bit softer. The sorrel drink was refreshing with a delightful mix of sweetness and ginger spice! If we ever find ourselves in town again, I would definitely return for a second visit. I really wanted the mac and cheese, but it was sold out. Hopefully next time! P.S. There's a parking lot available.
The customer service was okay, I suppose. They ran out of goat and oxtails by 5 PM. The chicken was extremely dry and lacked any jerk sauce. The rice was very salty, the cabbage was tough, and the macaroni and cheese was dry as well. The sweet plantains could have been softer.
A hidden gem specializing in Jamaican cuisine. We ordered ox tails and stew chicken. Both came with mac cheese, rice, vegetables and plaintains. Tasty with hearty portion sizes. Friendly staff. You can dine in or take out.Parking: The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. Parking is free
