I had my college department dinner party at TJ's and everything was over and over EXCELLENT! They easily fit 25 people in a private room for us. They made my daily special with a congratulation mark outside the restaurant and special menus written on them with my name! In addition, the food was phenomenal and received a round of applause when Chef Derek made an appearance to check on the party. Our servers were fast... View all feedback.
What Valeria Girón doesn't like about TJ's Restaurant:
not a vegan friendly place. They had an erdnuss thai dish that they had to change to be vegan. And that was a “Loose / Elite” vegan dish. nothing super fresh or local . don’t go back or hit it others. View all feedback.

We were not here in several years and found that the vegan options were much better than we remember! we tried the flower flowers hot wing starter, a cauliflower steak entree (did contain honey,) and the tofu stir fry. the cauliflower steak was surprisingly fantastic, and the “Wwings” and the brewery were also delicious. our waiter was not very familiar with the vegan options, but checked with the kitchen to confirm.
I was thrilled by the separate vegan menu the food descriptions sounded good. unfortunately the execution of the dips left a lot to wish. my partner and I shared an Entree salad for our appetizers. the salat was good so we hoped that the rest would follow the suit. he has the squash and I have the Thai aubergine. both dishes were boiled inappropriately, half the oak was raw and crispy and my baked aubergine was a pale frozen underboiled wut. neither the court had much taste/season, lack of deep and interest. the sweet in the filled squash was exactly the same as in the salat we already had, and my auberginal dish was pathetic small (1 paper thin disc baked aubergines) with some green beans and a tiny piece of squeezed sauce above. we went with carnivores, whose food still scary looking raw grease and combed mac and cheese! Even these indescribable grimes were not satisfied with the quality of their foods, which I really think is saying something. I hate to bash restaurants that try to provide vegans, but if it is not good, it is not good. what can you say? eating was also very expensive, taking into account the proportion and quality. I would never return to tjs. at least if they hang with animal eaters, they have at least one place to go.
Not only is tj an excellent restaurant with many vegan and vegetarian options, we also had happy enough to receive them our vegan high time, and even our meat eating guests shaved about eating. our thoughts may be slightly confused, but we believe that it was the best high-time reception we had at the high time. eating both in the restaurant and in the kitchen was amazing and my wife and I will gladly come back when we are in the opposite. the servings are great and they will not let starvation.
TJ's has made a real effort to appeal to vegans with a separate vegan menu. Offering about 7 different entrees, with another 3 or 4 items off the regular menu that qualify, the food is very tasty and they are willing to try and work with you on special requests. This is the only vegan menu in Wooster, but even if it wasn't, it would be a good choice. The outdoor patio is a nice feature for 3 seasons.
