Reviews summary
Black in Woonsocket serves standout seafood and an expansive menu with potent cocktails in a modern, lively setting. Many praise the food and attentive indoor service, but inconsistent staffing—often a single bartender juggling drinks, food and music—can cause long waits and uneven experiences. Live music and karaoke enliven evenings, yet healthy, vegetarian and gluten‑free options are scarce. With improved staffing and consistency this busy spot could be a regional favorite; as it stands, expect excellent dishes but variable service and occasional uninviting moments.

We got burgers and they were pretty good! Mine had some char on it so it had a burnt taste but didn't overwhelm the taste. They also have music games on Monday nights which was super fun! They only had 1 lady working there so we had to wait for a while buthopefully they'll get more people to work there in the future!
Intimate atmosphere, Juan the bartender was new. He was very nice and accommodating. I just went in for a drink and a Takeout of 2 side salads. My bill was 25.00. I will go back to try their food. Their menu looked good. They also have outdoorentertainment set up next door That looked interesting
The most delicious food I?ve had in the Woonsocket area. The service was very attentive without being overwhelming. The drinks are strong and the atmosphere is very modern while still being easy going. Absolutely a spot you want to visit and keep comingback. I?ve never seen a menu with so many dinner and drink options I want to try. The prices are also the most reasonable out ofany restaurant I?ve been to in the last year.
Great place if you like fried food or seafood! I do not eat anything fried, so I hit the bar...My friend got the fig pizza and it looked tasty! There are not many healthy alternatives especially if you are vegetarian/celiac. Typical Bar Food NothingSpecial
This is a fantastic spot for fans of fried food and seafood! Since I don't eat fried food, I opted to sit at the bar. My friend ordered the fig pizza, which looked delicious! However, there aren't many healthy options available, particularly for vegetarians and individuals with celiac disease. It’s pretty much standard bar fare—nothing out of the ordinary.

Stopped in for drinks. Did not eat so I can not review the food but the drinks were small and expensive for area. Food smelled good so I might have to try that.

I recently discovered this place based on food pictures, not realizing it wasn't a full restaurant. We brought our baby and were pleasantly surprised to find it was music night, which our little one loved. The customer service was excellent; our server was personable and checked in on us several times. Without a doubt, they serve the best surf and turf in the state—absolutely delicious! The ribeye steak was tender and juicy, not at all dry. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We dined in and thoroughly enjoyed it!
