not to mislead them, this place has become out of the tiny hole in the wall, the French classics every night of the week. what she will find now is a chic dachband that does good modern French. I'd rate it for what I like. but it does what it sets to achieve. afternoon drinks and functions 11/10 breakfast 11/10 dinner 9/10, please know that the lighting on the terrace is dim and it can be hard to read the small print... Nice ambience, average service with a good menu selection. All in the party opted for main plus dessert. Beef Bourguignon chosen by one was great, the duck ordered by two of us was the driest bit of boot leather I've encountered....and I eat a lot of duck. Wonder birthday eve celebration here tonight with my mother her partner and my brother. The waitress is funny and professional and the food was amazing. I loved the duck and the 5 course entree and desert.
We had our anniversary dinner here and could not be happier. Food was delicious, well presented with perfect serving sizes. Service was brilliant. They made the extra effort to seat us in a quiet spot and write happy anniversary on our dessert plate (had requested a nice seat and mentioned the occasion on booking). Well worth the price for a nice treat.
Bonjour! This place is my personal pick for authentic French. I highly recommend their escargots de bourgogne entree. To ensure you enjoy your journey, have the owners match your main course from their selection of wine - you will not be disappointed. This place is where I would have a "first date". Bonne chance!
We had a great dinner. The lamb was a 10 out of 10 for me. The service was prompt and friendly. Thank you for being patient with our loud Greek ways. Many thanks.
Came here for a special dinner and was suitably impressed. Service was excellent, with lovely complementary morsels upon seating. Escargot for entre was delicious. My partner had the fish which was amazing, one of the best he's had. I tried the chicken which was very rustic and earthy. Would love to co.e back sometime.
