This is a cozy spot to enjoy a nice snack. We had the cauliflower soup and a sandwich, both of which were excellent. The cakes also looked delicious! It’s a lovely place to take a break and relax. View all feedback.

The reception and dining experience were wonderful, along with the coffee, which was excellent that day. The ambiance, cleanliness, hospitality, and service were all top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely return!
Fantastic Wee café we stopped on the way to alnwick. excellent service, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food. we had an English breakfast and they didn't hold anything back, great choice. also take away some nice cake!
Often passed this cafe but stopped today for the first time. Clean and tidy with friendly staff and a surprisingly varied selection of cakes and foods. Definitely well worth a visit next time your near.
Stopped here for lunch on our way up to Scotland at the weekend. We were looking all the way up the A697 for a café, and this was the first one we found... and it was definitely worth the wait almost worth making a trip just to visit this place as the food really was that good, and plenty of it too. The baguettes were stuffed full and the carrot cake was probably one of the best we've ever had. The café itself was very clean, and nicely laid out, with plenty of parking just off the main road. Staff were very friendly and prices were definitely reasonable a fantastic little place in an ideal location.
