After hearing about this place a couple times we tried it last weekend when in the mood for some Thai food. We ordered take out and brought it home. On first glance, it seemed a bit pricey and the portions not as large as other comparable places, however the taste was there. What Opal Glover doesn't like about The Banana Leaf:
The food is great, and we do enjoy eating here. I just find the portions very small, making the prices quite expensive. We dine at very many thai places and the portions you get are so large, here they are the smallest I have ever seen. View all feedback.
If you enjoy authentic Thai food and great personal service, you must eat here! A family run business that never disappoints and is quiet and relaxing for an outstanding experience. The meals are to die for and I don’t know anyone who has been able to stop just once, and positive you’ll return as well.
Excellent. Can not say enough about this place. Love it. My favorite place to go. The food is excellent. The waiter is friendly and know his product.
After hearing about this place a couple times we tried it last weekend when in the mood for some Thai food. We ordered take out and brought it home. On first glance, it seemed a bit pricey and the portions not as large as other comparable places, however the taste was there. We had the Shrimp in Blankets for an app, and they were just delicious and perfectly hot. Then my husband had the Basil Beef and I tried the Drunken Noodles with Tofu. I ate the whole dish as there wasn't quite enough leftover for a second meal. My husband was good and saved half of his Basil Beef for the next day. We both really enjoyed this and will definitely try some different menu options for next time.
I have eaten at this restaurant many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious. A lot of the menu items are very spicy but they do have some which are a little milder. They have the best spring rolls I have ever tasted. The wait staff are very pleasant and efficient. The venue is small and intimate. Reservations are recommended.
I called to place a take order, and was told that they were not taken anymore takeout orders for the night. Which was fine, then the person literally just hung up. It was the strangest thing. I will definitely not be calling again and will go straight to Ingersoll to the Mango Salad for some proper service.
