I absolutely love Fish and Chips, so when I moved to town I was on the lookout for a fantastic place to indulge in some. One night, I randomly decided to try out Mel's just as they were about to close. read moreMel's Fish and Chips is a nostalgic treasure, serving the best fish and chips in town. The staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, and the vintage atmosphere adds to the charm. The batter is crispy, portions are generous, and the homemade tartar sauce is a hit. The history of the place dating back to 1929 is a gem to learn about. Whether dining in or taking out, the food is consistently fresh and delicious. Despite a minor hiccup with the chips, the overall experience is fantastic. A must-visit spot for all fish and chip lovers!.
