great old living atmosphere, with friendly service and delicious brunch options. only outside woodstock. it can be busy so that the service can slow down a bit, but wait is worth it! View all feedback.
What Mariano Zulauf doesn't like about Dean Michael's Griddlehouse Inc:
I am not an egg person so tried their basic buttermilk pancakes with a side of sausages. The pancakes were chewy and was not offered the added cost of "real" maple syrup. The side of sausage was overcooked and, for the price, not worth it. The exterior of the restaurant really needs some TLC. Parking lot is not paved, sidewalks are cracked and the entrance dark. Service was good which is why I gave it three stars.May... View all feedback.
The food was excellent. The hungry man breakfast could feed an army. It was incredible. The staff was very friendly. They were very accommodating with our group.
After my second breakfast visit here, 12 months after my first in 2016, I can say that the food here is very good, but the ambiance and set-up IS TERRIBLE!A very extensive menu and the mention of an entrepreneurial Chef was enough to attract me here the first time, and brought me back a second time, but the place is going to need a COMPLETE RENOVATION before I go back.GREAT FOOD, TERRIBLE AMBIANCE!WASHROOMS ARE A DISASTER.Tables, chairs and layout is embarrassing. It's an older building, I get that, but huge floor vents that are blasting COLD air up under the tables are RIDICULOUS. Even worse: staff don't seem to give a hoot.Sure, the place fills up with locals, regulars and large families that have probably been coming for a long time, but you can get just as good breakfast food and far better ambiance and service at Jessie's in downtown Woodstock.
An extensive menu with lots of choice. Plenty of parking and no wait for a table. Food was plentiful and tasty. Friendly staff and full bellies!! Crepes and onelettes were delicious. Coffee weak though.
A favourite place for years and for an awesome breakfast with family and friends. We have taken a number of friends there and they have enjoyed so much they have returned on their own!Good size portions and very reasonable but recommend reservations on weekends as it’s very popular.
This place is always busy which shows that the food is good. Various items choices on the menu. Decor needs a bit updating take a trip through the gift shop amazing little shop
