My mom and I eat there all the time. I'll be honest, I've been when the food wasn't great, but in fairness to them, it was near the end of lunch hour. I also had one of the staff tell me that if something wasn't hot to simply let them know and they would bring out fresh food. I was also told by a friend not to order the chicken balls because they were mostly batter, but I don't eat that anyway. Of all the times I've... View all feedback.
What Sarah B doesn't like about Asian Buffet:
We arrived after 5pm and only two customers were there. Floors were dirty and sticky, food was barely warm and far from fresh. Overcooked and soggy, couldn't finish my meal. Kids didn't even like the chicken balls, as they were dried out and hard. Server was wonderful. Very lively and friendly..but total waste of money coming here. Won't be back. View all feedback.
We used to stop at this place at least once or twice a month on Sunday nights. The reason being is because it was convenient from the 401 and the food was good plus they had sushi as well. We stopped there tonight apparently after it went under new ownership. This was the worse buffet I have ever seen. All the soups were empty and were not filled the whole time we were there. The food that was out, and it wasn’t much, looked horrible. The back buffet was literally empty except for dried up French fries and wieners that had been there since the lunch buffet, and I think 3 tempura shrimp minus the 2 I took. They are not offering sushi anymore. It was once a go to place but now I think the whole thing should be shut down.
Went for lunch and they were bringing out “new food” for the lunch time buffet....they were cold and looked old....if they here freshly made for lunch then why was the food cold?? Don’t eat here!
We had a large group meal there, food was okay at best; however, upon arrival, there wasn't much of it and what was there was cold. We were completely interrupted every few minutes by the waitress and the owners who couldn't figure out the separate bills. Every time they entered our area it turned it to a ridiculously loud unnecessary scene interrupting our dinner. In the end, we come to find out the owner believed that there was more guest to our party than there actually was basically accusing us of failing to pay or trying to hide the number of people we had. It completely ruined the entire event. We will never return, it was completely unnecessary and unprofessional, the restaurant should be ashamed of themselves and the scene they created.
AT 6 pm for dinner The food was old, dry, all deep fried, cold. hard, low quality, no veggies, empty buffet items, no fruit platters(scant pieces on tray stale cookies, ….. It was terrible, we left feeling ill . we said we are never going back. Buffet should have been all fresh and ready for dinner guests. There was hardly no one there...so The ribs and such items should have been bountiful. The time spent there very few items were re stocked. Place was very hot, stuffy and uncomfortable. expensive for what we paid. service waitress was friendly. ice water was refreshing

Of all the times I've been there, I've only had one meal where the food wasn't overly hot. They're also considering testing out a North American menu in the near future.
