I 've been to the truck at its Hartford locations. Let 's be real, lobster rolls in CT are expensive. But for $23 per, I would have expected more than a standard hot dog roll. The bisque is delicious, but the $10 bowl is what any other place on the planet would call a cup. Taste is great, but the hit to the wallet is not worth it. What Kathy B doesn't like about Cousins Lobster Food Truck:
Have seen them advertised at Taylor Brooke Winery and thought I would try the Bisque, not sure if it was because I went at 6 and they leave at 7 but I had literally no lobster in my bowl which also for most restaurants would be a cup. Disappointing to say the least. View all feedback.

That said, they 're a food truck, not a restaurant, so budget for the splurge and you should be good.
Delicious! Well worth the price. Nice treat at work. Such a surprise for nurses week. Food was awesome!

This is a food truck that goes to Taylor Brooke Brewery once in a while, and not a standing building. We've seen them advertised by the brewery a few times and decided to try it. Truck looks clean and the menu is easy to read. We each ordered a lobster roll, and I also ordered a lobster bisque, and my wife ordered a New England clam chowder. First, both the bisque and the chowder were extremely delicious. They were served very hot, and they survived a 5 mile trip home, and they were still hot! The bisque had an ample amount of lobster meat, and the chowder was also loaded with clams. Both of these would fit in at a high class seafood restaurant. If you're going to get one item from this truck, then go with either one of these. We ordered the Connecticut lobster rolls. It came in a regular size New England style hot dog roll. I took a picture, and compared the size to a standard tea spoon. Looks overstuffed, but for the price, not sure it was worth it. Till you actually see it in person, the bun is small and the bun could be replaced with a foot long bun, and maybe just a little more meat. I rather have the roll a little longer, with even meat throughout, than a short bun overstuffed. Also, the bun could of stood a little more toasting to it. There are other interesting items on the menu, but we decide to try roll and soup. I would stop again for the chowder and bisque, but I'm going to pass on the lobster roll. A
