I love this place! I feel grateful to have it in my neighborhood. The delivery is fast, and the food is always hot with fresh ingredients. I can't wait to try more of the menu, but, for now, I highly recommend the French onion soup, shepherd's pie, poached pear salad, bee sting pizza, and the Santa Fe tortilla bowl. It seems they are connected to Sean Og's (many menu items are the same), but they close earlier. Enjoy... View all feedback.
What Karma Lama doesn't like about Cornerstone Cafe Ny:
It seems that other customers have had better experiences at this restaurant than I did. I ordered two coffees and a bowl of lentil soup, but unfortunately, the soup never arrived. They charged $4 for the items I did receive, which wasn't too bad, but they required a minimum of $10 for credit card transactions, so I had to pay with cash instead. When I requested a receipt, they seemed annoyed and charged an additiona... View all feedback.
4.5 stars. I took away half a star for the early hours they keep and for the fact that it appears breakfast isn't served all day. Otherwise, the service is good, vibes relaxed and very much a neighborhood spot. They are warn and welcoming to the regulars. Food also good, well-priced, and they have happy hour drinks. I recommend it. Warm atmosphere.
So this Woodside Cafe I Queens, is simply AMAZING!! Our server Kristina made spot on recommendations for our meal. I had a bowl of French Onion soup that may very well rival among the best Onion Soup recipes I 've ever ever had. The broth was slightly sweetened with Irish Ale, beautifully caramelized onions, croutons with Irish cheese. It 's a definite 10 out of 10 rated bowl for sure. Then I had a Grilled Blackened Chicken Sandwich. It was prepared with tomato, guacamole and mozzarella on homemade oven bread. It had just the right amount of heat and spice not to overwhelm the tastebuds. Absolutely delicious!! We also had a delicious brick oven baked Hawaiian pizza with bacon ham and pineapple (don’t hate we LOVE pineapple on our pizza!! . Sweet, savory and a mouth waterfall delight. We had to try dessert. Kristina did it again. She recommended her favorite warm apple cobbler with a delightful crumble topped with vanilla ice cream and served in a cast iron pan. Ohhhh la la (enough said . Then we also had her second favorite carrot cake with with cream cheese and whipped cream and raspberry sauce with a bonus scoop of vanilla ice cream. Now don 't let the muffin appearance fool you. It 's definitely a wonderful carrot cake with a bread pudding like consistency. Super delicious!! The service was quite exceptional. Kristin made our dining experience a truly enjoyable time. Oh let me not forget to mention that the background music was great especially played at a volume that you could enjoy and still dine without screaming across the table. I HIGHLY recommend the Woodside Cafe (located at 60 06 Woodside Avenue in Queens. The website is woodside cafe business site. We hope you will enjoy Woodside Cafe as much as
My mom and I came here and our waitress looked like she doesn't want to be here and was inattentive. Food was bland and overpriced. Not worth it.
Mine and my husbands go to place for dinner. The food is always incredible, as well as the service. We generally go for the same food every time but switch up the pizzas. Fish and chips are always crispy and hot. Chicken curry is always perfect. It was our first time trying the senorita pizza and it was very good. We also love the margarita, bee sting, hawaiian, and highly recommend the prosciutto arugula.
Food was pretty good. It was late lunch and the service was a little slow, but it's acreally comfortable place and I recommend it.
