Outback 51 - Woodruff
Outback 51
Description
Nestled in the North Woods, this restaurant promises a lively atmosphere with mixed experiences. Highlights include an impressive Friday fish fry, praised for its quick service and delectable flavors, leaving diners eager to return. Guests have commended the friendly staff, who go the extra mile to create a memorable experience for families. However, some have reported issues, such as food quality concerns and a less-than-clean environment, overshadowing the positive aspects. While the ambiance and certain dishes earn accolades, the inconsistent service and cleanliness could deter potential patrons. Overall, it’s a venue with potential, but improvements are needed.

Food was decent. Got burgers n fries. Service was lacking. Owner chats with ya while no one helps you out so....needs work but edible.
We dined here on a Friday for the fish fry, and it was the best meal we had all week. The staff was excellent, and our food arrived quickly despite the restaurant being packed. If you’re in the North Woods, be sure to check out Outback 51!
After a long day at the zoo, we decided to stop by this restaurant, and we were so glad we did! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that our young children had a fantastic experience. They provided cartoons for the kids, treated them to cookie desserts, and even helped them pick out their favorite toys from the claw machine. The food was incredible—the Bloody Mary was loaded with toppings! We spent the whole evening chatting about how great the meal was. The service was prompt, and the atmosphere was lively. We can't wait to return!
Food was horrible, burger was burnt, fries were greasy and burnt, cheese curds were greasy and undercooked, drink order forgotten (water, tea, dt pepsi so not a large order). Burgers seemed to be cooked on a George Foreman no offense George. Would not recommend
The place is a complete filthy dump! The owner is probably the rudest person I have ever came across in a business setting. Unfortunately I believe he has the Napoleon complex. Not sure if his threatening behaviors to the customers were caused by the massive amount of alcohol he consumed in the short period we were there. We were mocked and humiliated by him because we are from Illinois.
