What Nick Moore likes about Doggie Diner:
I want to start by saying that I agree with the previous reviewer about the guy taking orders sounding like a radio host. As for the restaurant itself, if you're looking for a greasy spoon spot that has a Chicago vibe but is located in the suburbs, this is the place to go. The food, particularly the gyro and polish dishes, is excellent and they give you generous portions, especially when it comes to the fries. As a f... View all feedback. What Asif Rehmani doesn't like about Doggie Diner:
The name says it all. it’s not a great experience nor good tasting food. It’s cheap, fast and should be considered if you just need to eat something and not worry about quality. The environment is not so great either. Pretty run down and haphazard seating environment with also casino games that patrons can play. Having said that all, one silver lining is that the service personnel are good folks. View all feedback.

read moreNestled in an aging strip mall, this Chicago-style fast food joint offers a quirky blend of convenience and community spirit. While the environment is modest and in need of modernization, the restaurant makes up for it with generous portions and a diverse menu. Guests rave about the flavorful gyros and crispy fries, although some find the portion sizes overwhelming. Service stands out, as staff members consistently showcase kindness and efficiency. Though the presence of casino games may not appeal to everyone, this spot remains a solid choice for a quick, satisfying meal that embraces a true Chicago vibe.
