The service at the bar was quick and courteous. The young woman who served me was excellent—she kept my drinks filled and was very efficient during checkout. As for the food, it wasn’t anything remarkable; it was what you would typically expect from Red Robin. I've always enjoyed RR, especially the Banzai with crispy onion straws, which is typically very tasty. Unfortunately, this time was a different story. The onion straws tasted oddly like shredded paper, and I even checked to confirm that they weren't actually paper. Your service is generally quite good. I think the food is standard... not amazing, but also not fast food. All right. Recently I had a terrible experience that had an order over the phone for takeover. The person over the phone seemed like sitting on a couch and talking very lazy. After 3 minutes she said sadly, I cannot place the order because we are at maximum capacity. I couldn't even place an order online, either due to the maximum capacity. Later I found out that this is the call center that is founded for Covid. You really need to hire call center workers who give a damn. I went physically to the restaurant and they were nice and took my order. Would be a 4 star if I didn't have this encounter.
Following proper protocols, great food, ordered ahead and food was ready when I arrived. Friendly staff, reasonable price for what you get, will be returning.
