Thaxted Park Golf Club - WOODCROFT

Simply wonderful to get away from the string of food outlets in this area to a quiet and very welcoming restaurant in a ‘Club’ atmosphere. The range of food on offer is substantial and the drinks list very generous in their pricing there seems to be no ‘mark up’. We four had the chicken wings and the calamari, both excellent. The steaks grabbed our attention and all were cooked to perfection and were melt in the mouth. This is the dining experience we were hoping for. The attentive, helpful and very friendly service topped off the night. A great team that obviously enjoyed what they do.

Michael I recently held my birthday our surprise wedding at the Thaxted Golf Club. I honestly can't give enough praise for absolutely everything that Michael and his staff did for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even when we were chopping and changing our minds. We felt the staff went over and above our expectations and on the night, all of the staff were just wonderful. We had a cocktail menu and from what all of our guests have said there was plenty to eat with a lot of variety. A huge thank you to the chef. The wine choices were great and again our guests were quite impressed. We had a Gatsby themed event and were able to put our own touches and decorations and along with the ceiling fairy lights, the whole room looked amazing. I cannot recommend Thaxted Golf Club more highly. We have also been there for dinner on several occasions and will continue to do so as well as recommend it to our friends. The menu is fabulous, the setting is lovely and the staff are friendly. What more could you ask for. A huge thank you for all you did for us.

Five of us went for dinner we all had something different all the meals were fantastic delicious. The service by the staff was exceptional as well.

We had an amazing night at The Park restaurant. We enjoyed a 9-course meal featuring locally sourced ingredients paired with Ghost Wines. The wines complemented the delicious food perfectly. Chef Graeme and his team have truly set the bar high. The staff at this restaurant are always friendly and eager to ensure a wonderful dining experience. Guests are already inquiring about when the next tasting event will take place.

I want to thank the amazing staff for putting together a top-notch menu using ingredients from the Fleurieu region. It's not only enjoyable to play golf on the beautiful course, but now it's also a treat to have a meal and review your game afterwards. This place is truly a hidden gem and has become our go-to spot for Friday nights. Great job to the team and kudos to the chef!
