Cafe China is truly the greatest little cafe/Resturant you can eat at. We have never eaten in but have had many takeaways from them & always come home so happy we ordered.Fresh Ingredients, yummy flavours & the awesome service is refreshing. Also the size of dishes is very generous. Always great when you have a big family. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cafe China Chinese Restaurant:
The amount you get depends on who services you ! We've stopped going as the service and friendliness of staff has dropped off, especially if the man services you.. . . He can be quite rude Used to be good, but not of recent times View all feedback.
My partner and I decided to pick up some takeout on our way home because we were too tired to cook. We were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes and excellent quality of the food. It was so delicious that it ended up being enough for two meals for both of us. The prices were also very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant without any hesitation.
I spent $94 on two servings of Satay chicken entree, one small special fried rice, one beef satay entree, one large special fried rice, a serving of steamed dim sims, a serving of fried dim sims, a serving of spring rolls, and honey chicken with Singapore noodles. Where do I start? Both servings of fried rice were dry and flavorless. The chicken satay was cold and dry. The fried and steamed dim sims tasted as if they had been sitting in the bain marie since the restaurant opened. The Singapore noodles and spring rolls were also dry, cold, and lacked flavor. The food seemed to have been sitting in the bain marie for too long before it was served to us. As we only live ten minutes away from the Woodcroft center, it was disappointing to receive food that was not cooked fresh. When spending almost $100 on a meal for four people, we expect the food to be freshly prepared. Unfortunately, the food at Cafe China did not meet our expectations.
I ordered takeout for my family and the food was excellent. The prices were on par with other Chinese takeout places, and the friendly staff was an added bonus.
Bought takeaway from here tonight. We only live 5 minutes away and all the food ordered was luke warm when we got home to eat it. Very disappointing as half of the food had to be thrown out. I'm sure there is a problem with the temperature their food warmer is set at. Let's hope we don't get food poisoning.
Purchased Singapore Noodles and Spring rolls. The Noodles do not have meat in them as such. Just pieces of ham. They are cooked nicely but I always have to add some cooked chicken and pork and peas to bulk it up plus Singapore Noodles is not a Singapore Noodles unless it has a hint of curry so I add this as well. Then it tastes really good. The spring rolls aren't too bad but not a lot of flavour to them. I wish Chinese takeaways gave a serve of sauce with the spring rolls to add flavour.
