What amanda s doesn't like about Short Mountain Distillery:
3 stars is generous. We like visiting small distilleries but the grounds definitely need some attention. Very unkept which is a shame because the grounds could be beautiful. The tour if you want to call it that seemed as if it was for appeasement. Offering a tatsing and and cocktail class should be the only thing offered. It wasn 't crowded and guide was fun. We had 3 appetizers from the restaurant which were all good and the staff done a good job.

The distillery tour was great. The distillers were very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed all the information they gave us about their company. Its a small distillery so the tour is very personable. After the tour we had a late lunch at the restaurant. The service and the food were fantastic. Our waiter was very attentive and made our meal all that much better. I highly recommend Short Mountain Distillery.
My wife and I traveled from Missouri to see some sights and discovered this wonderful and unique place! We were given a fantastic sampling of their whiskeys and moonshine. The Charred Moonshine and Prohibition Tea hit the sweet spots for us. We each had a different sandwich on their menu and they were delicious! Amazing local art and tapestries mixed with the decore to give it a unique and down to earth experience. We had a great experience and would recommend a visit to anyone coming down this way.
We had an excellent visit to Short Mountain Distillery! The tour was interesting and very informative, the cocktail class was fun, and the food was delicious. The cherry on top is the incredible beauty you're surrounded by while you're there. We'll definitely be back!
