was immediately sitting on our party with only two. I had the darkened chicken salad that dressed too much on it. not a bad salate, but would recommend the dressing on the side. the waitress was very attentive. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ray J's American Grill:
our party of 3 waited for us for over 30 minutes. my choice, a reub that is always moist and juicy from the sour wort and dressing, was so dry that it was almost not edible. our waitress told us they were shorthanded in the kitchen. of course: View all feedback.
Ray J's has some of the best wings in the Twin Cities. Service is usually decent and they have a pretty good size and atmosphere. I never got into a problem when I visited. I will say that their happy hour prices are a little high compared to other places in the area, but the wings are worth the extra money.
One of my favorites. consistent, good quality. Amazing wings. The best in town. The whole food is notch, but it's worth it. Large tape beer selection. attentive staff. Working, but still the food came out quickly. Hands free toe holding door openers in the toilet is worth 5 stars.
I absolutely love the food at Ray J's, especially the smoked ranch wings! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. One time, I ordered one of their grill kits over the phone, and the server wasn't sure if it was still available. However, she took the time to check with the kitchen and was very accommodating over the phone. I could hear that it was quite busy in the background, but she remained very attentive. I highly recommend checking it out!
I absolutely love it! We've always made an effort to try new places, and this one is fantastic! The staff is positive and friendly. I will definitely come back!
I arrived just 15 minutes before closing and was feeling extremely hot and exhausted, barely able to think straight. The bartender, however, couldn’t have been more gracious, kind, or patient. He offered me a drink when I mentioned my low blood sugar and made a couple of thoughtful suggestions—none of which were just the most or second most expensive items on the menu. The place was clean, and all the staff wore masks, even given the tough working conditions. The dinner was great, but what stood out the most was how welcoming the staff was, especially considering I walked in when most places might have turned you away or been unfriendly—especially on a Sunday night! I really didn't want to go out, but I had nothing at home and hadn't eaten all day.
