Complaints ranged from slow service to being seated in an undesirable location. Others, however, found the food to be delicious with standout dishes like the Brussel Sprouts app, muscles, and house burger. Service at Cravings was praised by many, with special mentions of friendly staff and attentive waitresses like Corrine. Overall, Cravings offers a diverse menu with some hits and misses, but with enough positive reviews to warrant a return visit.
We ate here with another couple. the candied brussel sprouts appetizer was very delicious. I wasn't crazy to pay $5 for brot, but the bleu cheese butter that came with him facilitated the pain. my man and I share the truffle burger and wedge caesar salat. our waiter jonathan was attentive and patient. the food was served hot. the burger was excellent. the keilsalat was ok. big wine list, a little expensive, but overall we had a nice culinary experience. Oh yes, the riders who came with the burger were state fair good.
My man and I had a wonderful time at cravings that celebrated our jubilee. we had both flatbreads, margherita and mushroom brie, both delicious. to dessert we had the tropical Tres lick cake, one of the best desserts I ever had.
The bark short rib was amazing and did not need a season. the drink menu is good, but some of the cocktails are watered down. in any case will come again.
We came here by chance because our first choice was packed to dinner. but it ended a pleasant surprise. it is nice to find a local restaurant that has a little more fluctuation than some of the mega chains that fill in the rule the suburbs. service was good and relatiw fast. they have a huge drink card that was nice to see. I recommend the granatapfel martini. unfortunately I did not use my entrée (the current special beef-stroganoff.) mainly because it uses “warm spices” like muskatnuss and zimt etc. I don't enjoy these aromene dressed in hearty. there is a series of things on the menu that looked good. So we want to try something else in the future.
Food was decent. Kind of felt like home cooking though. I go out to experience something I can't do at home. I felt for $100 I could go next door and get something for $40 that was something I couldn't do and be treated better. Not bad, but needs to elevate their offerings if they want to charge these prices. Also kind of janky with a space heater and not knowing where to sit us. Felt like a typical cafe that charges robust prices. Uninspired.
