We were in the area for shopping and stopped by chance: Loved it! The service was outstanding! We were seated by a fireplace which created the perfect ambiance, we ordered so much food that we forgot to take pictures. Only one. Highly recommend. View all feedback.
What LindseyR doesn't like about Blu Alehouse:
There was an eviction notice on the door when we arrived and the restaurant was closed. Very frustrating that I was still able to make a reservation through here and it was even confirmed the day prior. We were going for a birthday dinner and we were left scrambling to make alternate reservations at the very last minute. Very disappointing. View all feedback.

My family has been here several times in the past year to celebrate post recitals, graduation, birthday, and just because. We have recommended it to others. Love the food. Love the fact that our children can eat here despite their food allergies. Great selection. It never disappoints.
The bartender never acknowledged we were at the bar before we got sat which was a good ten minutes, the waitress was the one highlight of the dinner as she was helpful and very nice to deal with, The food was good only to find out they are closing next weeks.
My friend and I came here for lunch and the food was so good. I wish I could remember the server's name but he was so nice and patient. The hostess was very polite and welcoming. I was very impressed as a lot of restaurants are lacking on the customer experience. I will be coming back. Thank you!
Tried a spot called Blu Alehouse located in Woodbridge, NJ which is an upscale sports bar atmosphere for happy hour. What we ordered: I ordered an alcoholic beverage strawberry mint and peach tea lemonade. Both were good. I feel as though the peach tea with lemonade had a little more kick to it.Also, ordered an appetizer, beef, and bean chili, melted cheddar jack cheese without the pico de gallo. It was served with tortilla chips. The chili and chips were delicious you could taste the cheese, meat, and beans. Definitely would order again. One order was plenty of food which was satisfying and filling. We ordered lobster mac cheese. It was very cheesy and creamy with small pieces of lobster. It was good too.We ordered salmon sliders, which had lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. Definitely was tasty and fresh. We ordered the American burger, with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sliced onions (well done) and it came with french fries. It was pretty good. The bun was fresh and the kitchen cooked the burger well. For dessert, we shared fried cheesecake with Oreo ice cream. Personally, I was not a fan I prefer traditional cheesecake with the crust.Atmosphere: I went during the week, Thursday evening around 7:00 PM. It was not crowded and we were seated right away at a booth. Right away I noticed the huge bar and big screen TV. If I was a sports fan this would be the place to watch any game. It wasn't loud in there so you can actually have a conversation with the person you are hanging out with.Server: The server Charlotte was attentive and took the time to make sure everything was to our liking. She was friendly and made sure we were happy with her service and food.Pricing: The pricing was pretty for the amount of food you receive. I went during happy hour and thought it was reasonably priced. Will we return: Absolutely, I would return and try other meals on their menu. The food was fresh and delicious. The price point is good. It’s a clean place. Great spot to watch sports, the bar area is huge!
