We like a lot hanging out. Yesterday we visited this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a lovely time there with superb meal and an experienced crew and a professional chef. We added this venue in our list and we shall certainly return very soon. We deeply recommend. Absolutely awful new staff. I placed a mobile order. Came over. They had not started it. I waited 5, then 10, then 15 minutes in line. They still didn’t start the order. These two new employees were moving slower than a sloth. The entire 15 minutes they spent on ONE ORDER. Normally my interactions are good at this location. Tonight I walked up at 8:56 and the doors were locked. The girl cleaning the tables just worded “sorry” through the glass and kept going about closing duties.Look, I get it. You wanna be off on time, so do all of us. I worked in Retail stores for 2 years and 9 months of my life and never ONCE was I allowed to lock the doors before closing time. That’s just basic rules. I tried getting in sooner but I had a personal hold up, either way if closing time is 9, that means it’s 9. Not 8:50, not 8:55, not even 8:58. DOORS LOCK AT 9. SERVICE is refused at 9PM. Not sooner.Do your closing duties earlier that’s all fine and dandy, that’s completely understandable. But the doors shouldn’t be locked and service shouldn’t be refused if it isn’t 9PM. That’s Retail 101, especially Retail food.

I spoke to the girls, explained I was on lunch, and I needed my order either started or refunded then and there. They decided refunding the order was the better choice. Which it was not. It infuriated me, wasted my lunch, and now I’ll be going hungry for the rest of the night. Thanks Subway. Real “fast” food.
The young man who was working was very friendly fast and efficient?? Professional and kind , food was very good???
