You can just tell when it's homemade! I suggest you make a day of it if you're not from the area. We went to Sunflowers if Lisbon before (which was beautiful), and asked the attendant where to get good ice cream since the on-hand creamery wasn't available. She suggested Alex's. The service was excellent and very kind. The ice cream was worth every penny and then some with generous servings that definitely satisfy! It's a 10 for me.
Wow, they serve a lot of ice cream. This is your place to go and bring your dog as well. We had a very nice relaxing afternoon and just stopped in for a quick dessert. We loved it and will definitely make it a family favorite.
