Honestly. Probably one of the worse experiences. I travel occasionally to Chicago to eat Spanish food and enjoy family time.Don’t recommend this hotel:Unlucky us the fridge was not working properly. We came in put our drinks in the fridge and a few hours went by and everything was still hot on a 90 degree day. To make our experience worse the room has no microwave, there is only one microwave for the whole floor. I had to walk back and forth to warm up milk and food for the kids . To be honest this is the first time i see a hotel that has 1 microwave for a whole floor of over 20 rooms. When we spoke to reception the inly options given was 2 buckets of ice or bring the drinks down to the main floor with the workers. We were not offered a different room or nothingWith this being said . I will not be staying here again.Rooms: No microwave. Fridge not functioning right

Rooms need updating and better cleaning. The floor was dirty. The room did not have a closet or anywhere to hang clothes. The bed was too soft and uncomfortable. Will probably not returnRooms: Need updating. Not clean.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful, but not overly so. The breakfast was not included with the stay but at $15 for a relatively simple buffet wasn't outrageous. This hotel is at least an hour from most things in Chicago, so I wouldn't recommend staying here if that's where you want to visit during the days. It isn't terribly inconvenient for the airport.Walkability: This hotel isn't walkable. There is a nice walking path that circles the block, but you'll have to drive or cross major roads and go a distance before finding amenities.

I was here for 4 days I didn't try the breakfast, the dinner was pricey, however extremely tasty and with hefty serving sizes so I wasn't upset. The staff was extremely pleasant. And the drinks at the bar was good and strong. Room was clean well stocked.I also caught a slight irritation with front counters night staff, because he chose to follow his policy if you see this I am so sorry) and he still went out of his way to make me smile. He alone is 2 of these stars!The building is really old but what building isn't in illinois. And if coming in by airport, a shuttle is available but I'd recommend and rental. It's about 17mins from ohare, 30 1hour with traffic to the city, and about 53mins to the south suburbs. Which if your not from here I suggest you avoid.I will definitely return during my next visit ? brovi doubletree!
