Scotty's Grill - WONGALING BEACH

I have never been so disgusted with a meal in my life. I ordered salt and pepper calamari and fish and chips for takeout, only to receive 6 pieces of undercooked calamari and a small portion of soggy lettuce. My fish dish was just as disappointing, with only half a fish and a mere 5 chips. There was no salt, no salad dressing, and no additional chips with my calamari. How can anyone be proud to serve such a subpar meal? It is shameful to rip off customers like that. To top it off, my card was overcharged for this unsatisfactory meal. $40 for 5 chips, a piece of fish, and undercooked calamari is absurd. Scotty's, get your act together. You cannot operate a business in this manner. This level of service is completely unacceptable and disgraceful.

I had a fantastic meal tonight at this restaurant. I ordered the vegetable lasagna, even though I'm not a vegetarian, and followed it up with a delicious pear and caramel cake served with cream and ice cream. I also enjoyed two glasses of Rosé. The food was superb, the restaurant had a great standard, and it was definitely the best value for money in Mission Beach.

On top of that, my bill was outrageous - $40.00 for 5 chips, a small piece of fish, and 6 undercooked calamari pieces. This is completely unacceptable and shameful.

Had a great dinner tonight. veg lasagne (and I am not even a veggie! followed by pear and caramel cake with cream and ice, all washed with 2 glasses rosé. super eating, restaurant standard, best value for money in mission beach!
