Reviews - Summit House
Reviews summary
Tucked into rural Wisconsin, this family-run restaurant is celebrated for hearty Midwestern fare — standout Friday fish fry, chicken and dumplings and weekend prime rib — served hot, in generous portions and good value. The owners are personable and many diners praise friendly, attentive service and a cozy, lively atmosphere with a bar and occasional live music. However, uneven staff behavior and billing inconsistencies (unexpected fees, pricing mismatches, missing receipts) have left some patrons wary.

What Robert Price dislikes about Summit House:
The Friday Fish was tasty, but I was put off when I saw that the website listed the price as $9.95, yet they charged me $15.95. Because of this discrepancy, I'm hesitant to return. View all feedback.

Make sure to visit on Wednesdays for their chicken and dumplings! They're absolutely delicious!

The fish fry on Friday night was fantastic—everything went smoothly, and to top it off, Randy Ennis sang "Happy Birthday" to me!
