What Tamara Newton doesn't like about Boon Kai (take Out Only):
We’ve been going to boon Kai for years .. always was our favorite .. hadn’t in awhile since we had moved but saw they were on door dash so I was thrilled .. super disappointed that the rolls seemed to have changed now and weren’t the best .. the sweet and sour sauce wasn’t the same either and was disappointing… chicken was very crunchy now .. whatever you changed .. TLDR: First time, would recommend, good food, great price, and will be back.To be honest the main reason we wanted to try this Chinese restaurant is because they are SAVAGE with Karen’s in the reviews haha. But after getting the food I’d come back for sure. I was happy they ACTUALLY made my General Taos “extra spicy” like I asked. I’m sweating haha. I love almost everything from here including the peppersteak but I do wonder is the black bean sauce on it black soybeans or black beans?
Was not impressed. Someone told me they were good and I was disappointed. I hate giving bad reviews, but I had no choice on this one. Sorry ?
