We stopped by for coffee and noticed that the place had been renovated since our last visit. The waitress seated us at our table with a pleasant demeanor. We were impressed to see that the staff quickly cleaned tables after guests left, something that is often overlooked at other places. It was nice to have a waitress take our orders promptly and serve us quickly. The coffee was delicious, much better than others we have tried recently. We will definitely be returning.
We arrived and seeing that the car park was full we were concerned that we would not get a table but although there were two couples in front of us we only waited about five minutes to be seated . The lady taking our COVID tracking details was very strict but did a great job so we felt secure. We were soon served with drinks and the meal came in a reasonable time. The waiting staff were all very polite and were COVID conscience. The food was also great, three toasted sandwiches and one jacket potato were all very nice so we had a very enjoyable lunch and a good chat with our friends. Thank you.
Had to wait ages for a table despite plenty of empty tables, staff milling about didn’t appear to be doing much clearing away. Very poor menu, weren’t told of the soup until we asked which when it came was average but at least warm, weren’t told there were no scones until we ordered one, later heard one of the staff saying they sold out of them early they day before !! Extremely expensive very basic tea room, unusual for Webb’s but it’s our first probably last visit to it.
Webbs, located in Wychbold, is one of the largest garden centres in the UK and has been recognized as Garden Centre of the Year by the Garden Centre Association three times. They offer a variety of displays throughout the year to cater to all your garden and home needs, including special displays during Christmas. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the ice skating rink is a fun and festive activity that is reasonably priced. There is also outdoor seating and a separate café with great views. Wheelchair access is easy, and there is a large car park with plenty of blue badge spaces. However, the lack of attention to providing high-quality food was disappointing and pricey. It would be beneficial for them to improve their catering services. Despite this, the garden centre is well-maintained and offers a wide range of plants and gifts. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and perfect for a leisurely stroll on a sunny day.
Webbs Garden Centre in Wychbold offers impressive displays and friendly staff but falls short in providing high-quality food at a reasonable price. Despite the homemade pasta dish being a tasty exception, the restaurant was slow and disappointing overall. The garden centre itself is vast and well-maintained, offering a wide range of plants and gifts. Visitors can enjoy seasonal displays and activities like ice skating. While it may be a bit pricey, a trip to Webbs is recommended for the variety and quality of products available. The center also offers wheelchair access, outdoor seating, and a holiday atmosphere worth experiencing.
