Hong Kong Delight - Wolverhampton

I ordered from this restaurant tonight because I wasn't feeling well enough to go out. They are only a 5-minute drive away. I placed my order at 7:22 pm and was told it would be a 60-minute delivery. After waiting for the full 60 minutes and still no delivery, I called to check and was told the driver had just left and would be another 10/15 minutes. I mentioned that they were only 5 minutes away. After waiting an additional 20 minutes with still no delivery, I called again and was told the delivery had already gone out. I decided to cancel my order and won't be ordering from them again. There is no need to lie about delivery times. If you are busy or if it will take longer, just be honest. I am glad I chose to pay on delivery after reading some reviews about not getting refunds.

We placed an order for food and waited for 3 hours before deciding to call. We were told that our food was on the way but after another hour, we still hadn't received it. When we called again, they seemed confused by my name and asked if they could resend the order. They also mentioned that they couldn't refund me unless I went through Uber Eats. The food was decent, but it should never take this long to find out that our order was never actually on the way. Overall, the customer service was terrible and you can expect to wait hours for your food even on regular weekends.

All the food is premade, I saw it all already there cold in the trays. They just give it all a warm up. we expect it to be freshly cooked, well it's not! The food is left over night UNCOVERED. Leaving it free to Bacteria, flies Mice , rats etc crawling over it. You can see it uncovered from where you get served, No wonder it tastes funky , not like the ones that cook fresh

Absolutely disgusting ordered 2 beef currys with rice and chips opened the curry it stank put a fork in and it was foaming white froth the meat was off took it back offered me 2 more curry’s but wouldn’t replace the rice and chips so we had cold food they didn’t seem bothered that there meat was off never going to eat from there again zero star

Food is always tasty and never been disappointed with it. I have ordered before a few times previously though far and few between each order as I do not eat take out food much, but each time is always tasty. Salt and chilli chicken wings are a must to try.
