They have a play corner in the restaurant and a... read more We stopped here for lunch on our drive from Munich to Zurich. Random find. This place is fantastic for families. They have a play corner in the restaurant and are really good with kids. The food is sumptuous Bavarian - rich, tasty, and not all that good for you. ;-)This restaurant also has a beer sommelier, and they feature a number of regional and international beers. We would definitely go back there.

The service was very friendly, the food was very tasty and fresh and the amenities for children are superb. For those who love beer, there is a menu of crafted beers that is quite interesting. A great experience and welcomed break during our travels. Will surely come again.

And that speaks more the the following review. It was good but don't expect good Bavarian food! The other dishes we had (9 adults) were a selection of regular Bavarian style dishes. And all of them we either, average, incomplete (because some items were missing and weren't replaced) overall not impressive. the service was terrible. The poor girls were not very organized and helplessly incompetent to deal with problems which arose (e.g. the cheese platter had not 'Obadzda' which is the main reason for ordering it. When we addressed the issue, she complaint about the morning shift and the things others did wrong, she didn't try to fix the problem nor offer a new dish. And the same happened with the sausage plate... However, the selection of beers and quality was goos which saved this review!!!Location: Yes we sat outside in the "beer garden".It is located behind a "colorful" (80ies ???) hotel and not scenic at all and don't search for the garden. If you have a look at the homepage, you will notice all the indoor photos. the restaurant is nice on the inside but outside ... disappointing.Overall: the beer and the one or the other dishes was good and helped over time ;-) But overall the experience was average. Would I recommend it and go there again: NO! there are better places in the vicinity.

Things can go bad, that happens everywhere. If the kitchen does something, the service should repair it. Do not ignore and eat before the guest without a word. In the end, I had a cheese plate that I can make myself at home in no time and for which I did not eat and a secondary dish that came here earlier, but was lukewarm. If I hadn't been hungry, I would have given it back even if I had a tough time when the food was thrown away. Icing on the cake were four jars hops of liquor worn by hand instead of on a tray. Result: sticky glasses, sticky fingers (both waitress and guests). Yucky!
