The Illawarra Brewery - Wollongong

The place is big and basic, offering good quality pub food. Very casual indoor and outdoor eating areas. Has a good range of beers. Good for a casual meal but not a really good place for a big night out.

We went for lunch before Disney on Ice and ate on the deck which was quite nice. We did wait quite a while for our food but it looked like they were understaffed on the day. I had the brewery burger and I have to say it was the BEST tasting burger I've ever had. The only criticism I have if the burger was that it was too small especially after how long we waited.

Took over an hour to get a meal and garlic bread. I wouldn't have cared if I was told when i ordered. When I asked waiter how long he checked but apparently the chef yelled at him and wouldnt tell us. Poor

I have visited this pub a few times when travelling for work and I've felt like a beer at the end of the day, they always have a great range of craft beer on tap but on this trip I decided to stay for dinner which ended up being well worth it!! My meal came super quick the day meal was delicious and the service was excellent! If you like craft beer and good quality pub food I would highly recommend you stop off here!!

Great beers, great food and very good value. The live music was very good too ( the Record Breakers was the Band)
