We had breakfast here this morning. We ordered the daily special which was a frittata with kale, sweet potato, corn and mushroom with a rasher of bacon. The serve was generous and flavoursome. Washed down with coffee. We enjoyed the meal. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Green Room:
I visited Green Room for a pleasant breakfast on a Sunday morning. The laid-back atmosphere was perfect for the beachside location. We were able to quickly order from a simple menu with affordable prices. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when our coffee and fruit juice arrived promptly but our food did not. Despite the lack of customers and the takeaway option for quicker service, we waited 45 minute... View all feedback.
If you like your burgers, and like having a good range to choose from....and you love coffee - then this is the place for you. Burgers done well and great coffee.. and a beautiful spot in the sun on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Attentive and friendly staff will greet you. Check it out.
We visit here about 6 to 8 times a year when we go to Coniston Beach with our dogs and are yet to be disappointed. Coffee is good. We had the burger specials this week and they were excellent. They provide water bowls for the dogs. My only complaint is the $9 charge for an egg on a roll for my fussy teen who doesn't like bacon or the accompaniments.
I had a burger called The Big SMac - tasty beef patty, onion rings, lettuce, pickles and Big Mac style sauce (and lots of it too). It was a cold winter day but one of the workers suggested a sheltered table and set up an outdoor heater to help ward of the cold wind blowing on from the sea.My wife had a bacon and egg roll which she commented was probably the best that she had ever had - she doesn't have them often, but it was still quite a compliment. Will definitely go there again, even on a cold, windy day.
The staff at this restaurant are very welcoming and friendly. They offer a wonderful variety of food that is served hot and with a smile.
We hadn't been to The Green Room before and decided to take our son, visiting from Melbourne, to this hidden little spot. He's a fan of pork belly and The Green Room presented one of the best he's had. It was served as 'Surf and Turf', with panko prawns being the 'surf' part. Two of us had the night's special: grilled barramundi with potato galette, and gazpacho with peas. Absolutely delicious! My husband had the excellent Dirty Bird Hamburger.Live music was provided by talented local singer/song writer, Sam Allen, adding a melodious, relaxing atmosphere to the evening. You pay as you order, at the counter, and it's BYO so as well as being a top food experience, it's totally stress-free.Our son returned the next morning for a take-away coffee and said it was really good (we didn't have coffee with dinner).I'll have no hesitation taking more visitors to this great spot!
