Food was really nice full of flavor, people were friendly and the prices were cheap. Basic layout but for nearly half the price of other places with just as good food, well worth it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Basil Cafe:
Got take away from thai basil figtree. The 'vegetable' mini spring rolls as noted on their menu, were actually meat (being a vegetarian was really not impressed!) And the Pad Thai was so sweet it was barely edible. Won't hurry back. View all feedback.

They seemed to cook one meal at a time so the first person was finished before most of the party were even served their meals. Not well organised, service slow.At Thai restaurants we usually find the meals all come too fast, not here. The area outside near the toilets and the toilets was less than clean. It was fairly cheap but this was evident by both the food, the decor and service.
The restaurant is now relocated to Figtree. The food is tasty but at about $15 a main I expected to see a lot more meat. Both the meals I ordered were 80% vegetables. The meat was small and thinly cut.. I hardly saw it :( You get more meat in a hamburger lol. Also hard to understand why a small restaurant had 7 staff and not many customers ?

A plus is that they were opened pretty late when most other place were already close. A negative is that the food wasn't that great. What we ordered was quite flavourless and some of the meat i got in my Fried Rice tasted funny.
