What benst likes about His Boy Elroy:
We popped in here for a few beers before dinner elsewhere. Nice beer selection, we chose a couple of different IPA cans. They had Capital and Balter which was great. Also had a snack of the spicy popcorn chicken. This was excellent buffalo sauce tasted like Franks. Staff were friendly and knew their stuff. Couldn’t spot any Jetsons decorations despite the name. Will ask next time. : This was a cool place and we will... View all feedback. What OxfordKiwiLad doesn't like about His Boy Elroy:
I'll skip the food we had, which was just ok. We ordered four thickshakes for the kids at $12 each and they were thinner than milk. Not sure what they did to them but the wait staff who delivered them said they are out of canned whipped cream. As someone who loves good milkshakes/thickshakes, if you can't produce it up to scratch, let the customer know in advance rather than pass off a substandard product. View all feedback.

read moreThe restaurant received mixed reviews with some patrons expressing disappointment in the quality of the food and service, citing issues with the burgers being soggy, lack of care in preparing orders, and overpricing. On the other hand, positive feedback was also given, particularly in relation to the welcoming staff, delicious burgers, and great beer selection. Overall, opinions varied on the experience at the establishment, with some vowing not to return while others praised the food and atmosphere, giving it a thumbs up for those looking for American comfort food in the Illawarra area.
This is THE place for hamburgers. The best ever, I mean fantastic. Service was way above what you would expect in a burger bar.
