Guzman Y Gomez Wollongong

Had dinner at GYG Wollongong with my family last Thursday. Food was awesome. Service was fantastic! Everyone was friendly and had even indulged my inquisitive son's questions regarding where they're originally from. I love your burrito bowl barramundi. It's the best! We will surely visit again the next time we're in the area.

Guzman has been around for a while now and they're expanding everywhere! Their Wollongong restaurant is better than all the ones in Sydney. The interior features a large vibrant street artwork and the fixtures are nice and modern; seating outside is also great for groups. Food is high quality, pulled beef isn't soggy and the burritos and nachos aren't slopped together and rushed like other Guzman's. This Guzman gives Amigos (an institution for Mexican in Wollongong) up the road a run for its money with fast, affordable Mexican.

Love Guzman y Gomez so much! First of all, watch for their $5 burrito and corona days because they are so good! Have a great range of meals for families with kids meals available too. Decently priced with most meals about $10+ and chips and dip about $5. $1 drinks til 3pm on weekdays are always good! Really enjoy the friendly service here too they are always so lovely and ask you how your meal was. Very quick service too, only takes about 5-15 minutes for meals to be served! Nothing bad to say about this place. Prefer it over Beach Burrito any day!
