Emotionless behavior coupled with listlessness. Not a smile and not a kind word. It's a shame, the lagoon in the Autostadt can also be different. Therefore only 3 stars.

I asked in advance via email whether there was a vegan option, as breakfast costs almost €27 per person and we were traveling from Celle. Vegan dishes were confirmed to me. When I asked for a menu, I was only assured that they also had vegan cakes. When I arrived at the restaurant I was so disappointed. When I asked the very friendly service staff, I was made aware of the vegan “corner”. It was soy yogurt and fruit. There was also one really only one piece of apple pie. Smoothies and hot cherries are also vegan. It stayed with rolls and vegan nut nougat cream. For 27€. No salad, no antipasti. For a breakfast for two I can get better somewhere else for €54. But the service was very friendly and even a bit embarrassed. But I don't want to accuse anyone of anything. We won't be coming back

But it was really delicious and fresh! Highly recommended. One minor drawback is that everything is quite cramped and you sit very close to the next table. But all in all, it was really great. I'd especially like to mention the service, which was incredibly friendly. There's also a children's play area.

My crit... read more I was here for coffee on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant was moderately busy. The coffee and desserts were of very good quality, but quite expensive. My criticism is solely directed at the service: there seemed to be more staff than customers, and ordering a coffee at one counter and a waffle at another took almost 35 minutes in total. How is it possible that someone comes by to clear the table seemingly every 10 seconds, yet the order is either taken by untrained staff or there aren't enough people? Especially if you're there with a child and not your partner, this system is a disaster with such long waiting times. If it always takes this long, then introduce those buzzers. Better yet, hire trained staff; what I experienced today was completely inefficient.
