Der Name ist fast etwas irreführend, handelt es sich doc... read more Nach dem Besuch des eher enttäuschenden Weihnachtsmarktes war ich mit 2 Bekannten noch im Aalto Bistro. Der Name ist fast etwas irreführend, handelt es sich doch um ein sehr gutes Restaurant und nicht nur um ein Bistro. Mich hat gleich die große Auswahl an Weinen fasziniert. Es wird zusätzlich zur Speisekarte eine Kreidetafel an den Tisch gebracht um die Empfehlungen des Tages vorzustellen. Diesen Empfehlungen folgten wir dann auch. Zu Pasta mit Miesmuscheln und einem Risotto wurde auch jeweils ein passender Wein empfohlen. Auch wenn nicht viele Gäste im Restaurant waren, fühlten wir uns dort wohl. Das Aalto ist auf jeden Fall ein Tipp, um in Wolfsburg gut italienisch essen zu gehen.

As soon as you arrive, you are gr... read more A feel good place with soul – Aalto am See I discovered the aalto am See in Wolfsburg during a visit and was really impressed. As soon as you arrive, you are greeted warmly and immediately feel welcome like with good friends. This special “at home feeling” runs through the entire stay. From a culinary point of view, it was also a hit: we had ribs and pasta both prepared to perfection, prepared with love and really tasty. You can just tell that people don't just cook here, they work with passion. Also the dessert and the greeting from the kitchen were simply perfect in our opinion.
