I come here a lot! Definitely prefer over Louis, but not as good as Huck?s Hoagies. This is my second choice when Huck?s is closed. Staff is very nice, hamburgers are decent, subs are good, pizza is really good. Like any pizza place, wait time gets very long around dinner rush. Try one of their other random sandwiches or dishes! I really like the BBQ pork sandwich ; View all feedback.
What Brian Wood doesn't like about Wolfgang's Pizza Subs More:
I had high hopes after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures but was slightly let down. The pizza was hot and fresh and almost tasty even. We had ordered their variation of the Hawaiian. I wasn?t happy about the amount of grease the the pizza had and deducted 3 stars for that, honestly it was so much grease I should have deducted 4 stars as it had seeped through not only the pizza but the box. This is a fantastic pizza joint! Only knew about this place because of the veterans count pirates cove 5K. Based on looking at this place from the outside, you may not be aware they do walk in dining. I suggest they make it a little more inviting for out of towners. Anyway, the pizza and sides were really good, the girl taking the order was super friendly and helpful, and the bathroom was very clean. Next time we're back in Wolfboro, we'll stop here again. Check them out!
The pizza is good, the subs are great, and even the cheese fries are remarkable. Wolfgang?s is our favorite pizza place in Wolfeboro.
So glad we stopped here for lunch! I had a small meatball parm sub and my wife had a gyro wrap. The smalls were still big enough to easily fill us up no problem. The sides of fries and onion rings were also larger than expected, those are going home for later. There's only one table inside and two outside so I think most locals probably do takeout. Prices were very reasonable.
The building doesn?t have any signs to truly navigate and determine if you are walking into the correct place so i was very ?put off? by that. Ordered the Bruschetta and an eggplant parm sub. Both were ok but way over priced. It came to over $27 which i personally, for the amount of food i actually received, don?t think it was worth that. There was barely enough pizza for one person, never mind two so keep that in mind. Inside, there?s not really any dine-in areas. A few chairs and a table. I might go back, but if i did i would order something more worth my money.

I wasn?t happy about the amount of grease the the pizza had and deducted 3 stars for that, honestly it was so much grease I should have deducted 4 stars as it had seeped through not only the pizza but the box. The pizza was either not completely cooked or the grease had made it soggy and that definitely affected the flavor.
